This is the project website for the preparatory study on Local room heating products DG ENER Lot 20. The study is being carried out for The European Commission (DG ENER) in the context of the Ecodesign Directive.

Stakeholder involvement is a crucial part of the study. You can follow the progress of the study through this website. By registering as a stakeholder, you can stay informed of the latest additions to this site and download the documents for consultation.

What's new?

July 2, 2009 – The Lot 20 website is on-line. The documents related to the study will be made available here.

July, 2010 – The DG ENER Lot 20 study is currently on hold as the Commission is still reviewing the scope and definition (Task 1) of the study to ensure consistency across all heating, cooling and ventilation product categories. A new schedule for stakeholder meetings and project reports will be updated here as soon as the study gets on its way again.

September 22, 2010 – Consultants from ENER Lot 20 & 21 and ENTR Lot 6 met with the Commission to coordinate work and clarify how products that have both heating and cooling functions will be investigated in the respective lots.

October 21, 2010 – The Task 1 working document is available in the documents section.

December 6, 2010 – The first questionnaire (corresponding to Task 2 and Task 3) is now available for download in the documents section. We encourage all stakeholders to complete it and submit their responses by December 17, 2010. .

March 24, 2011 – The first stakeholder meeting will be held in Brussels (Charlemagne Building, rue de la Loi 170, 1040 Brussels) on Monday 18th April 2011 (10 am – 5 pm). We encourage all stakeholders to confirm their participation latest by 11th April 2011, by using this electronic form: http://go.biois.com/enerlot20.

March 24, 2011 – The detailed agenda for the first stakeholder meeting will be soon made available on the project website in the meetings section .

April 4 , 2011 – The latest version of the working documents for Tasks 1-3 are available for download in the documents section .

April 13 , 2011 – The registration for the 1st stakeholder meeting is already closed. If you wish to attend but have not registered, fill in your details in this form: http://go.biois.com/enerlot20. Your registration will be forwarded to the European Commission.

May 17, 2011– The second questionnaire (corresponding to Task 4) is now available for download in the documents section. We encourage all stakeholders to complete it and submit their responses by June 17, 2011.

September 9, 2011– The second stakeholder meeting will be held in Brussels on Wednesday, 28th September 2011 (10 am – 5 pm).
